The girls wanted to chop their hair off today so we made a trip to the beauty shop. We should have done this at the first of the summer! It was a little sad for me because "A's" hair is so short that I can't even put it in pig-tails anymore :-(
I have to admit they do look cute, though, and they LOVE their new "do's"
Look how much hair they cut off of "A"! Gone are the light blonde curly locks! It's now light brown - how did that happen?!

I LOVE the new hair do's!! Macey wanted hers chopped off this summer too~must be the "in" thing : ) I can tell you one thing though.... brushing out her hair after a bath is MUCH MUCH easier to do!!
That's one of the reasons I didn't object to cutting it. It chopped off the tangles! Much easier to fix ;-)

They do look so grown up! And A's is very short! We actually got Rebekah's cut today. I am waiting to post it on my blog, b/c I'm afraid her grandparents are going to freak!
I thought the exact same thing, about how we should have done it early in the summer. But after swimming and tangles this summer, it was beginning to get some damage. So I suppose now was as good a time as any! I didn't actually go in with the intention of getting it cut so short, but she wanted it and she loves it.
And a side bonus we didn't intend, was that she got enough cut to send in to Locks of Love b/c her hair was soooo long!
