Field Trip to the Gilcrease Museum

The girls and I went to the Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa today and had a great time! They currently have a large exhibit featuring cowboys and cowgirls from the past. We spent a lot of time in their kid's area where they had fun western and Native American dress-up clothes to wear. Of course, the girls LOVE dress-up so it was hard to get them to leave that room. But their most favorite area of all was the Art Room. They were in heaven! They had about 6 tables set up with different art projects at each table - including painting, making things with clay and wire, coloring with markers, weaving, making paper collages, etc.

Unfortunately, it was pretty chilly today and we didn't get to explore the gardens outside - we'll have to save that for next time. We had so much fun and can't wait to go back again soon when we have more time!

Wow! Looks like fun! Were you all the only ones in the art room? Did you do the story time at 1?
