We met an angel from Russia today ;-)

Fourteen Russian orphans arrived in Tulsa last week for 8 days of 'camp' in America. They are currently living with host families learning English, sharing their traditions, attending Vacation Bible School and enjoying fun activities in our area. Today, we had the honor of meeting them for a fun time of playing basketball, creating things with Legos & playing together on the Wii.

My girls and some of their friends met an eleven year-old Russian girl named Lynna. Even though they didn't speak the same language, they had a good time playing ball together.

Channel 6 was there and interviewed Julie Duncan, whose family is adopting two children from Russia. They also interviewed some of the Russian children, with the help of an interpreter.

For more information about adopting one of these precious angels from Russia, please visit the Tulsa Lighthouse Project's website at http://www.lhproject.com/ . The story was featured on tonight's news and you can read more here!

stumbled upon your blog - what an amazing experience with these russian kids - we have some come to our church every year to do a singing show - it is organized from a local international adoption agency - it's always great to see them and even more exciting when families decide to adopt them - - i bet your girls will always remember this time

God Bless, susan
