Tea Party Celebration in the Country

I took the girlz to a Tea Party Celebration in the country this past weekend. Steve's mom went, too, and we had a really great time.

The Tea Party was hosted by Debra Honn, author of Let's Have Tea, a sixty-lesson, five-year tea party planning instruction guide geared toward young girls. She spoke about raising girls to have good manners and to have godly character. We had fun eating cookies and drinking "tea", making a craft, going on a hay ride, touring a log cabin replica from the 1800's, participating in a relay race and cooking hot dogs over a fire. Here's a few pics from our fun day.

The Tea Party was held in a barn at Firey's Mountain in Sand Springs...

Yes! We definitely need to go to the Pink House soon! (And use our groupons!) Maybe in September or early October when it cools off & we can go antiquing afterwards!
