Our church just finished an AwEsOmE week of VBS! The kids had a great time learning what it means to play on God's team and how to serve others!
Here is a canvas I painted (with the help of a few friends) that served as the backdrop for the stage in the sanctuary. It's "supposed" to look like a lot of people sitting in a stadium at a ball game...
My 7 year old daughter made an appearance...
and so did my 9 year old daughter. (One of the perks of having Mom in charge of the backdrop!)
And yes, our pastor made an appearance, too. My husband says I should have added a head mike to his face because he kinda looks like Jesus. (He's probably right!)
We also painted "ads" along the bottom of the canvas to look like ads running across the bottom of a stadium.Tweaked Starbucks ad...
