This year, to celebrate the 4th of July, we...
saw Midlife Crisis in concert and watched the fireworks at Stone Canyon in Owasso...
watched fireworks at Freedom Fest at Freedom Church...
went to Steve's parents for a 4th of July family gathering...
And we did our yearly tradition of watching fireworks from our roof...
Last year, during the 4th of July, Steve was on his missions trip to Uganda so we were all pretty happy to be celebrating together as a family this year! Fun times and fun memories ;-)

We did our yearly tradition - watching fireworks from the roof...
We went to Rockets Over Rhema in Broken Arrow...
Video by my 9 year-old, Abby ;-)
We rode in a bike parade with some of our friends...
And we spent the night of the 4th swimming with friends...
Happy 4th and God bless America ;-)

4th of July 2010
We had a great time celebrating the 4th of July this year! Our first celebration was at the Stone Canyon Concert Series this past Thursday night. There was a ton of people there, lots of food and beverage vendors, great music, fantastic fireworks and fun friends!
The following morning, our homeschool co-op came over for a little 4th of July bike parade and picnic. The kids were so cute riding their decorated bikes and scooters.
The next night we went to a friend's house to watch Owasso's fireworks which were set off at the high school close by.
Then, on the 4th of July, we went to Steve's parent's house for our annual 4th of July celebration.
And finally, after we got home, we watched fireworks from on top of our roof. We started this tradition last year and the girlz love it!
It was a great time to reflect and thank God and our veteran's for the freedoms we enjoy.

Not the best video but it gives a general idea of what it was like on our roof. The girls had a blast & the view was AwEsOmE! You could see fireworks all around us!

Kerusso t-shirts for sale...

My friend, Liz, is selling Kerusso t-shirts to raise money for her brother-in-law's family that are serving as missionaries in Thailand. They will continue to stay in Thailand and serve for at least another year.
The T-Shirts come in both Youth S-L and Adult S-XL. They are $6 each and ALL the profits will go to support The Pennington Family in Thailand. The colors are RED, WHITE and BLUE. They are perfect for 4th of July and has John 1:16 quoted on the front. This is a beautiful message to share during this presidential year, plus you get to offer the gift of supporting missionaries. XXL and XXXL are also available for $8 on special order.
