Family Fun Day

When Steve and I first met, we were going to school at OSU in Stillwater. After we got married, we lived in Edmond and one of our favorite things to do for date night was to go to Hafer Park and walk around it's trails and sit by the duck pond - yeah, we're exciting like that ;-)

Anyway, we thought it would be fun to take the girls to our "old stomping grounds" for a fun family day so that's exactly what we did last Friday. Steve took off work, we loaded up the girl's bikes and headed to Edmond, where we had a picnic lunch at Hafer Park then let the girls ride the trails while we walked behind them. It was so much fun!

They've added a rock wall challenge to the old water tower. Abby especially liked it since she's our natural born monkey...

After we were worn out from walking and riding bikes, we hopped back in the car and drove to Stillwater. We were hoping to eat dinner at Joe's but because it was homecoming weekend, there was a 2 hour wait. So, we ended up grabbing dinner at Chili's then headed to the campus for the Walk-Around. We had a great time looking at all the homecoming decorations...

Steve was in the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity so, of course, we had to stop by their house to check out their homecoming decor. They did a great job and came in 5th place overall...

Well, well. Who do we have here? Phi Phi Kappa Alpha! ;-)

That's one handsome dude right there. I would date him. Oh yeah - I did. And the rest is history...

It was a fun day reminiscing and making new memories. Yeah, we're cheezy like that.
