John 3:16 Banquet

Steve and I recently attended a Volunteer Banquet for the John 3:16 Mission in Tulsa. It was so neat to see so many volunteers who have a passion for serving others and have a deep love for those at the Mission. One sweet couple who was there has been serving at the Mission for over 30 years now and they live in Oklahoma City. I thought that was just amazing!



The dinner was delicious and the "entertainment" was so cool. His name is Richard Hight and he draws fantastic drawings on canvas with chalk. It was so neat to watch him work and he has a great testimony of how he got started. God has truly used him in amazing ways and he has even opened for such bands as Third Day and Casting Crowns. Here he is in action...

Our family has truly loved serving at John 3:16 and if your family is looking for volunteer opportunites, I strongly encourage you to consider their Mission. It's a wonderful place to serve.
