The Upwards Basketball and Cheer season just ended last Saturday so they had a big awards assembly this past Tuesday night. It was a fun night of friendly competitive games involving parents and kids. They also did a brief sermon sharing the gospel message. "M" got to go up on stage and participate in a demonstration then the pastor asked her to recite John 3:16. She did a great job and I was very proud of her. "A" also got to go up on stage and do a dance routine with her cheer squad. There's a video of it below - she's the one in the middle back. The girls had a great time doing Cheer and they can't wait to participate in it again next year!
