As mentioned in previous posts, we are redoing our Game Room/Homeschool Room and it is FINALLY almost finished! We've been working on it for several weeks now but should finally be done in a few days - if everything goes as planned! Here's a few more updated pictures...
Steve made the girls desks because I couldn't find any I liked in the stores. I thought he did an awesome job ;-)
I made the girls bulletin boards from ceiling tiles and attached them to their desks with velcro. I painted a design on the boards & hot-glued trim around the edges. I also hot-glued "jewels" to thumbtacks so they can display their artwork or pictures of friends ;-)
I've been on the hunt for a black and white rug forever now but to no avail. So, I purchased a plain black rug and hot glued ribbon to the edges. I love that hot glue gun!!!
Steve's going to build a long storage window seat in front of these 4 windows & I'm going to make ribbon valances similar to the ones at this website.
Only a few more projects and we'll be done!
