Tackle It Tuesday...

I don't have before & after pictures of what I did today for Tackle It Tuesday, but believe me, the house was a total mess and now it's only a partial mess ;-) We've been cleaning because one of my best friends from high school, Allana, is coming into town tomorrow. She's going to stay the night with us then she and I will head to OKC for our reunion on Friday.

Allana and I became friends in junior high and I'm so glad we've kept in touch over the years. (She now lives in Scottsdale, AZ & is a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines.) I can remember the days before we could drive, we would call each other to set up a "date" of shopping and eating. We'd then ride our bikes to the local Dress Barn & would buy hideous-looking, and often times matching, outfits - of course, we thought they were cool back then. We'd then ride to Taco Mayo for a greasy and disgusting bean burrito - Taco Bell & Bueno were too far away to ride to on a bike. Fun memories ;-)
