I saw Garth & Trisha today ;-)

I live in the same town as country music greats Garth Brooks & Trisha Yearwood and am constantly hearing stories from people that live here how they see them all over town. Well, I have lived here for 10 YEARS now and I have NEVER seen them in person - that is until today! I saw them at the grocery store walking to their car. You'll be glad to know I kept my composure and didn't even ask them for their autographs. For some reason I thought that was blog-worthy ;-)

  2. Cool. I saw them like a year or so ago although it wasn't in our town it was in Tulsa. I saw them and the kids at Braums's. I didn't say anything and tried really hard not to stare. Well at least not where it was obvious. They didn't stay very long though just long enough to get their ice cream. As much as I go to Target I am surprised I haven't saw her!

  3. I surprised myself when I saw him and his girls in Reasors because I was pretty "star-struck". He shops in Ben's store all the time and he says he is very polite (yessir, no sir). And he also says to never hesitate to ask for an autograph or pic because "its part of my job"!

  4. She shops Lowe's at Christmas time with her Mom.
His kids go to school at "R" so we would see him everyday during school. He always parked far from the door and walked his girls all the way to class. Not sure why he parked so far away. KAO once fell while getting into the car and Garth helped him up and into the car. They were always at "R" functions like Fall Festival.
Even more fun is Garth's ex. She's a nut and shops Lowe's all the time.

  5. That is sooo funny! I use to see him at Albertson's a lot! I was too shocked to say anything and would just turn away real quick in horror that if I tried to speak, nothing would come out! ha ha!! I love..love..love your blog! You are such an inspiration! The girls are growing up so fast! You have a beautiful family! It was great to hear from you!

  6. Too cool. I wish I would have seen them when I was up there recently visiting Fawn. I told her we needed to hang out where he does and try to see him! We were actually going to drive by and stalk his house..haha! But we didn't!!!

  8. My sister was in Reasor's once with all 3 of her kiddos a couple years ago and the baby was screaming her head off, while Amber was trying to figure out where the other two were and paying all at the same time. She said this man in line behind her offered to help and wanted to hold the baby. At first she was going to say no, thinking he was a freak. Then she realized it was Garth and graciously accepted his help. She said it was all she could do to keep from grabbing a disposable camera off the rack and having the cashier take a picture!
