Dance Recital '09

The girls just had their 4th dance recital with Center Stage Dance Studio today. Of course, this is our favorite part about taking dance lessons - getting dressed up in costumes and performing on stage for the final recital!

Grand Finale...

After the Grand Finale, certificates and medals were given to all of the dancers. "A" received a medal for dancing 5 years and "M" received a medal for dancing 6 years ;-)

We saw Francesca Battistelli in concert last night at the Riverwalk in Jenks. With the exception of there being waaaaay too many people there (it took 45 minutes just to get out of the parking lot when it was over!), it was a perfect night for an outdoor concert!

The girl's big dance recital is this weekend so it was time for them to have their pictures taken in their costumes yesterday.

Spring '09 Pics

Since we had so much rain at the beginning of May, our family has really enjoyed spending time outside the last few weeks. The girls have helped a lot with the outdoor chores this year. We took out the old mulch & put in new, planted flowers, weeded, put new sand in the sandbox, painted some outdoor furniture, bought new swing cushions and a decorative flag and cleaned out the garage & our cars! The girls have also found a birds nest in their favorite climbing tree that has baby birds in it ;-) So here's a few pics of our hard work!
